My Antipode

Privacy

My Antipode has no accounts, no sign-up forms and no advertising. Here is everything the site keeps about you and what goes to partners.

Who is responsible

The personal data of visitors is handled by the owner of the site.

In your browser

The cookie antipode.lang remembers the language of the site for a year. In localStorage the browser keeps your settings: language, theme, country, currency, your city, recent searches and the city of departure. They stay in your browser, the site does not collect them.

The button that finds your place asks the browser for permission. The coordinates are sent to our server only to find the point on the other side.

On our server

The technical log of the server keeps the IP address, the address of the page and the browser name of every request. It is needed to fight abuse and fix errors and is deleted as the log rotates.

When you follow a button to a seller, the site records the time, the route, the language of the page and the source label, without the IP address and without cookies. Error reports from the browser are kept without the IP address and without the query string.

Every flight search on the site sends our server a short anonymous summary: the route, the dates, whether only direct flights were asked for, how many tickets were found and on which days flights leave the airport of departure, plus the language of the page and the source label. There is no IP address, no cookie and no browser data in it. From these summaries the site learns on which days small airports have flights. The records of searches are deleted after 12 months.

Visit counter

The site counts visits with Yandex Metrica: pages, sources of visits and time on the site. Session recording and the click map are off. The counter sets its own cookies.

What goes to partners

The flight search on the site asks the Travelpayouts partner network directly from your browser: it sees your IP address and the search (cities and dates). Photos of places are loaded from Wikipedia.

After a button takes you to a seller, the seller's own privacy policy applies. The link carries our partner label, not your data.

Your rights

You can ask what we keep about you and ask for it to be deleted.
